Lordy, I hate those flying insects too, and I REALLY hate that “token intellect” your mentioned. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a Starbucks (hope you’re not embarrased before the entire universal web-world at having an aunt who’s never been in Starbucks) but that stuff happens all over the place……PLEASE!!!!!….. I typically just roll my eyes and snort.

We all – every one of us – reap what we sow. That is all that is happening to him. I’m always sorry to see anyone’s life wasted in prison. That is certainly not what God had in mind for Edwards. But Edwin made his own choices, knowing full well the possible consequences. He simply gambled that he would not get caught. He was wrong. It is sad, yes, but he did it to himself. No one has done this TO him.

That said, God’s love for good old Edwin Edwards is steadfast and He stands waiting – still – for Edwin to take responsibility for his actions and allow God to make good use of the time he has left on this earth. I really do pray that he would understand that while he still has time.
